Find Your Rally Point
You don't have to jump into the deep end.
The Foxhole Project is built around connection that grows naturally over time. Start by meeting the community. Get to know some people. Join us around a fire. When you're ready, spend a weekend with us. From there, the trail can go as far as you want it to.
1. CONNECT

Start here.
Join our online community or come out to a Campfire Social. There is no pressure and no expectation to tell your story. Come grab some food, sit around the fire, meet a few people, and see what Foxhole is about.
Veterans, Service Members, and their Families are welcome.
3. EXPEDITION
Backcountry Experiences
When you're ready to go farther, Expedition Retreats take the community into the backcountry.
These multi-day experiences involve greater distance, greater challenge, teamwork, shared responsibility, and opportunities for Veterans to lead alongside one another.
Expeditions are designed for participants who have already spent time in the Foxhole community and are ready for the next step.
2. WAYPOINTS
Weekend Retreats
Once you've started getting to know the community, Waypoint gives Veterans and their Families more time to connect together.
Waypoint Retreats are accessible weekend camping experiences built around shared meals, easy hikes, campfires, practical skill-sharing, family time, plenty of downtime, and the kind of conversations that happen naturally when people have time to slow down.
The goal is simple: get outside, spend time together, meet other Veteran families, and enjoy a weekend without needing every hour planned.
Waypoint is designed for the whole family. Most of the weekend is spent together, with one short, optional Veterans Campfire giving Veterans a chance to connect with one another while families remain part of the larger retreat experience.
4. LEAD
Give Back to the Community
The trail doesn't have to end after an Expedition.
Veterans can stay involved as volunteers, mentors, skill instructors, facilitators, trip leaders, and community builders, helping create the same sense of connection for the next person who shows up.
Start where you are. Go as far as you want.
Support Along the Way
The Foxhole Path is about community, but life does not always follow a straight line.
At any point along the way, Veterans, Service Members, and their Families may need information, a connection to another organization, or simply someone who knows where to start.
Resource Navigation
We help connect Veterans and Families with trusted resources for benefits, healthcare, housing, employment, mental health support, recreation, and other needs.
We are not here to replace VSOs, clinicians, attorneys, or other professionals. Sometimes we simply help you find the right door.
Skill Sharing
Everyone has something to teach and something to learn.
Practical skill-sharing happens throughout the Foxhole community, from conversations around the campfire to hands-on workshops, Waypoint Retreats, Expeditions, and peer-led instruction.
The goal is not just to build skills. It is to give people opportunities to contribute, teach, learn, and discover that they still have something valuable to bring to the group.
